We are small but big hearted here in Salisbury Park, Wrexham. Last Sunday our minister Brian Matthews was in charge of us and we were busy congratulating ourselves after a very successful coffee morning the day before. We used to have them once a month but it has became increasingly difficult to find volunteers, so we now hold them bi monthly. All proceeds go to the local Hospice.
We are very well supported by our sister church Trinity Presbyterian, of which Brian was joint minister before his retirement. Last Saturday we enjoyed the company of Trinity members and also from the local Catholic Church. We raised £140 from our cakes, jam and draw. In the four coffee mornings so far this year we’ve raised approximately £420.
Small but mighty are we!!!!
