Advent God,
May we seek hope anew this year in the story of Christ’s birth,
Hope in the star that guides in the darkness, reminding us that you are always with us, whether we find this season joyful or painful.
Hope in Mary who teaches us to follow you and to be open to wonder in our own lives.
Hope in the tiny baby in the manger, whose birth reminds us of the power of God’s love for all of creation.
