We organise a variety of activities which we can’t fit into one week!
We learnt and shared in our Christian Aid Sunday service and our Monday morning worship with the children of Penrhys Primary the difference Christian Aid has made to the life of Aline and her family in Burundi.
We held a Cake Sale, House to House Collection, Bingo and a Tabletop Sale. We really enjoy the House to House Collection as it gives us the opportunity to meet people and have a chat. Four of us (Michelle, Neil, Ruth and Sharon) also completed the Llandaff Cathedral to Penrhys Pilgrimage over three days sponsored for Christian Aid.
The first day – Llandaff to Llantrisant – was the longest and hardest leg as we got very wet, but it was worth it.
The total collected (so far) is £642.30.
