Cardiff Pastorate Worship

The Cardiff joint Pastorate service took place at City URC on Sunday 29th March with well over 100 people present from the 5 partner churches.

Members of the World Council of Reformed Churches were welcomed and took part in Worship.

As part of the Palm Sunday worship, the children and young people created a road into Jerusalem using painted feet and handprints to represent the palms and clothing, as well as a cross cut out using wool.  There was a purple cross to represent Holy Week and our cross was colourful and represents the joy of Easter Sunday.  Each church from the pastorate was given part of the road to take back to their churches to use this week.   We took these in to show the congregation and Martha gave an explanation.  There was also a Lego version created.
