People’s Emergency Briefing – screenings in Rhiwbina and Barry
Two churches in Wales will be hosting screenings of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a 50min film exploring the climate and nature crisis and encouraging communities to come together, hear the evidence and join the conversation.
“It’s time for government to give a live emergency briefing on the climate and nature crisis, introduced by the PM and delivered by independent experts, as an essential step to unlock the wartime-scale response now required.
Our new film, presented by Chris Packham, is screening in communities and workplaces across the UK to raise awareness and build public support for that government-led briefing.”

Rhiwbina
A screening will take place at Canolfan Beulah, Rhiwbina, CF14 6LX, on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 6.30pm. The evening will include the film screening, discussion and refreshments. Seats are free, but please book in advance using the QR code on the poster.
Barry
Barry Uniting Church, Heol Y Llongau, Barry, CF63 4AT, will host a screening on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 6pm. Come along to watch the film and stay afterwards to join the discussion.
