Zaidie Orr is an ordained Minister in the United Reformed Church and she has worked in Sheffield for the last 9 years. She retired from Team ministry in March 2025. Both her and her husband, Trevor finally realised their wish to retire to Wales and in May last year they moved to the beautiful Rhos on Sea.
Zaidie has a passion for racial justice and is has held the role of Convener for Racial Justice Advocates. She has been involved in Racial Justice Advocacy in her previous synod and has advocated on other justice issues, including vulnerable groups. Zaidie believes the ‘Racial Justice’ is everyone’s business’ and Micah 6:8 confirms that God requires that we act justly and love mercy.
Zaidie hopes that others across the synod will be interested in the issues and looks forward to working with congregations and churches, as we journey to become an antiracist denomination.
