As Moderator for the National Synod of Wales, David’s role includes offering spiritual and pastoral oversight, care and leadership to the Synod and its churches. He also provides supportive oversight and pastoral care to ministers, CRCWs and their families.
David works within the Synod Support Team, alongside the Synod and its churches to take forward the mission and discipleship priorities of the Synod and the wider United Reformed Church. He encourages the discernment of God’s will in the councils of the Church and supports local churches as they seek to join in with God’s mission in their communities
The Moderator relates to other Christian denominations at national level within Wales so that wherever possible ecumenical co-operation and partnership can happen.
The Moderator also plays a part in the wider life of the URC.
