North Wales Jubilee Pilgrimage

Churches in North Wales are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the URC with a Jubilee Pilgrimage from Wrexham to Penmaenmawr.

Every Saturday from July 16 to October 2, groups of pilgrims will travel by foot, bus, train or car from one church to the next, arriving for refreshments and a time of prayer. The following day, a special service of Sunday worship will focus on God’s faithfulness in providing us with the Water of Life.

A wooden bowl has been specially carved by Andrew, a young URC member, as a symbol of refreshment and unity. In keeping with the theme of water, donations to WaterAid are welcomed.

The distances vary and different modes of travel are available to make the pilgrimage as accessible as possible. All are very welcome to join a journey. To find out more about the dates and routes, download the Pilgrim’s Booklet
