And God said, ‘Take care of . . . the land’

The National Synod of Wales is aiming to become an Eco Synod, which requires our churches to become Eco Churches. The process calls on us, as individuals and as the church, to reflect on the way we live our lives and how we impact the world around us.

Our Synod Mission and Discipleship Board have developed a series of Zoom meetings, with guest speakers, to help us explore our understanding of the natural environment as gift from God.

The third session in the series is ‘And God said, “Take care of . . . the land” on Saturday 30 January, 10am to 11.30am. Our guest speaker is Rosie James from the Cardiff Council Parks Service, and we will be exploring how to allow our green spaces to reflect the abundance of God’s creation through the protection and nourishing of plants and wildlife.

To join the meeting, please email Jason Askew to register.

A recording of the first session, with Caroline Pomeroy of Climate Stewards, is available on YouTube.

A recording of the second session, with Cynan Llwyd from Christian Aid Wales, is available on YouTube.
