A Taste of Appreciative Inquiry – March 2017

In March 2017 the Synod will host an overnight residential course – A Taste of Appreciative Inquiry at St Michael’s College, Cardiff.

Dates: Tuesday 7th March, 4pm to 9pm & Wednesday 8th March, 9.30am to 4pm
Venue: St Michael’s College and Conference Centre, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2YJ
Facilitators: Tim Slack of Appreciating People and Revd David Salsbury, United Reformed Church
Fee: FREE for Wales Synod sponsored delegates – otherwise £150 per person.
The fee covers overnight accommodation, meals, refreshments, and core materials

Content will cover an introduction to:
AI principles and underlying theory
AI tools: Appreciative conversations; the 5D cycle (Definition, Discovery, Dream, Design and Destiny); and SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations and Results as the AI alternative to a SWOT analysis)
Crafting appreciative questions
The importance of generativity.
