The Windermere Centre
Just to let you know that the Windermere Centre site – http://windermere.urc.org.uk – has been re-vamped. The front page has a list of the courses available for 2009. The Mission Council-appointed Review Group hope that all the URC Churches will get to know about what is on offer to them via the Centre.
Please let your ministers and Church Secretaries know about the site so that they can bring the information to the Elders’ Meeting and Church Meeting for strategic planning for 2009.

Churches' Legislation Advisory Service
A vehicle for conveying to the Government the views of the churches on legislation and other matters which directly affect them. The subjects covered by CLAS range from taxation, heritage grants and charity law to marriage law, immigration rules, planning and building regulations and water charges, with much else besides. Circulars are issued free of charge, giving information and advice, to the denominational and other bodies which are members of CLAS and there are also booklets for sale.

The URC Holiday Forum
The URC Holiday Forum is a family conference run every August for members of the URC and has been going for over 60 years, and was originally run by the URC itself before being taken on by people who went to Forum. This years theme leader is Roberta Rominger, and the theme is 'God is still speaking'.
